  • Explain the purpose of a knowledge ecosystem and its relationship to AI
  • Explain the purpose of a content audit and perform a simple content audit on an existing content set
  • Identify common content channels and build a basic channel model based on an existing channel 
  • Explain what a content model is and create a simple content model
  • Explain the purpose of taxonomy in a knowledge ecosystem and start development of a basic taxonomy design 
  • Explain the purpose of metadata and design a basic metadata model from a content audit and taxonomy design
  • Explain common reuse methods and start design of a basic reuse model
  • Explain the purpose of a content plan and start using a common content plan tool as part of a workflow
  • Identify the stages of a standard structured authoring content workflow and describe the roles and handoffs at each stage 
  • Start the creation of a content standard that includes the decisions made throughout the knowledge management ecosystem design
  • Explain the role of governance in sustaining a knowledge ecosystem and identify key roles and schedules for governing a knowledge management ecosystem 
  • Identify which parts of your knowledge ecosystem will need deeper expertise in your organization and plan next steps for building that expertise
