CATALYNK Privacy Policy

Website Visitors

Like most website operators, Catalynk collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Catalynk’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Catalynk’s visitors use its website. From time to time, Catalynk may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Catalynk also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users. Catalynk only discloses logged in visitor and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.

Certain visitors to Catalynk’s websites choose to interact with Catalynk in ways that require Catalynk to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Catalynk gathers depends on the nature of the interaction.  For example, we collect email addresses of those visitors who wish to receive updates via email. In each case, Catalynk collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Catalynk. Catalynk does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. Visitors may choose not to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that this choice may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
